Validation of the Sentinel 2 surface reflectance over a corn field

Time period: 2018 - present

A camera system has been built in order to validate the Sentinel 2 surface reflectance produced by LaSRC (Land Surface Reflectance Code) over a corn field located in Maryland. Using a boom lift, measurements of four wavelengths (Red, Green, Blue and Near Infrared) have been taken since summer 2018 for the coincident sentinel 2 data, covering an area of nine sentinel 2x10 pixels.
